Wow, Stacy, that's awesome! Keeping veggies on hand for the munchies is something I definitely need to get better at... I'm a sucker for cookies in the afternoon. Thank you for sharing :-)

Over the past year I have lost 30 lbs and I never worked out as much as you do. How inspiring. Way to go. Some of my tricks have been sticking to one small treat a day, only drinking alcohol on Friday or Saturday, and filling myself up on water and veggies when I have the munchies. This soup looks divine. I'll be adding it to our recipe rotation in the near future.

I loved reading this; very inspirational! And I completely relate to the no drinking Monday - Wednesday goal. I easily slip into drinking a glass (or two) of wine every night while making dinner, and then wonder why I maintain/gain weight while eating a mostly healthy vegetarian diet. Lovely recipe, too!

What a unique recipe! I'm always a fan of your soup recipes. I'll have to try this when I get some parsnips in my CSA box (with a vegetarian sub for the guanciale)
