Ok, my first thought was, “There’s no way that woman has 7 children!” She’s gorgeous! LOL. But the book sounds wonderful, totally my sort of food. Can’t wait to check it out!

Firstly, I will very openly admit my jealously of Mimi’s wonderfully picturesque existence in France… Beautiful.

Secondly, I too have never roasted a chicken in all my years of cooking..! I’ve roasted turkeys at Christmas time but I leave the roast chickens to my mum, who has seriously perfected the art. In all honestly, I couldn’t tell you the last time I cooked chicken at all as it’s not a protein with which I’m terribly enamoured – I don’t actually trust any chicken that ISN’T prepared by Mother Dearest and on the occasion that I was forced to eat airline chicken on my return from the UK last year (because the alternative was pork which I don’t eat full-stop!) I got full-on food poisoning….

However, on a much happier note these poussins look wonderful. Great styling and composition :)
