To be honest, I don’t remember! Probably chardonnay, as that’s typically my white wine of choice. Since it’s fairly heavily sweetened, it shouldn’t matter too much – use what you like to drink.

I have only ever made red wine sangria before.. definitely need to broaden my horizons and make your mulled pear version, it sounds so incredibly delicious. I have a feeling that it will be perfect for the Christmas season here in Australia too!
