I’m like you, I find the aroma of basil intoxicating and find myself smiling the whole drive home from the farmer’s market with that beautiful scent filling my car and senses! But also like you, I tend to over buy, especially at the farmer’s market when everything is so fresh and beautiful, I just can’t resist. This recipe sounds lovely, but I just used up my basil in what else but pesto, so I’ll have to wait until next weekend to give it a try and I will.

This sounds like such a wonderful summertime combination! I hear you on the getting sick of pesto — I’ve actually been thinking about drying our fresh basil instead of making more of it. But this is an excellent and really different option!

I really love your recipe. Panna cotta is my favorite dessert both to make & to eat ever since I started preparing it. A truly beautiful variation here…
