Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches were my brother’s favorite as a kid, so I can’t wait to give this a shot next time he’s home. Thanks for the head’s up on the base… I have one I think will do nicely. :)

thank you a lot, Katie, for this somewhat critical review. It really helps for what you say about the base recipe is THE pitfall in ice cream making, so it´s a real pity if the recipe does´t work so well at that point…. have a beautiful summer with many batches of creamy ice cream! Beautiful photos btw !

Thank you for this post! I freaking love the design of this book – it just looks so gorgeous, and I like that the styling is a little different and new. And the recipes sound great too! (though maybe not that base) This just made it to the top of my books-to-buy list!

Oh my goodness…I spy a nutter butter and I am in love! Really dig the ideas and flavor combos that are floating around in this book…Correct me if I am wrong, but did you mention whiskey butterscotch?
