Be careful, you may be bit by the home brew bug! This affogato looks absolutely divine, and what an excellent use of the stout. If you’re stuck for other ideas and don’t dare drink another sip (although, that seems unlikely) check out Thebeeroness.com. Jackie has tons of stout infused recipes. Of course, these big boozy beers usually age well. Don’t be afraid to try a bottle that’s still sitting around a year or three later!

That really looks divine! I miss stout – there are days I’d kill for a pint of Guinness (in an Irish pub, of course). There’s lots of great dark beer here but I haven’t seen any stout. I love the idea of that brew-your-own place – wishing that idea will catch on and spread. In the meantime, will find a suitable dark beer to try this cocktail!
