I made this last night w/some changes I found in an old New York newspaper article. 1/2 cup honey, 12 oz of blackberry jam, 3 cinnamon sticks, 1 tbl of whole All-Spice & 1 tbl of whole cloves, 1/8 tea salt and 7 cups of water. Simmer, covered 30 min and then strained. We added vodka to each glass. I let all the ingredients sit in a pot for several hours before simmering. WOW, had 2 glasses and slept like a baby! This should have been invented in my native Ireland, darn-it!

Wow, I've never heard of a drink quite like this! The closest thing I can think of is Russian-style tea with raspberry jam--which I guess is a direct relation. Super interesting!
