You can NEVER have too many rhubarb recipes, and amongst hundreds I reckon there’d be room for this one. It looks gorgeous, and totally worth the effort! I’d never have thought of poaching it in red wine but the colour is splendid :D Saving this for a special occasion!

That is a such beautiful dish and oh my gosh does it look good! I love rhubarb… I think I’m going to have to see if I can still get some and try this out. I haven’t had enough this year! Thanks for a great recipe!

that’s stunning! and I’m sure it is delicious. the SPQR cook book is been on my list for a while, just gotta finish reading a few others before I get it. I have never used rhubarb before, and was looking for a good recipe to try, this one although involved seems to be exciting and challenging, and something I’d like to try. beautiful post as usual.
