Oh I’m sure dulce de leche would be great. Maybe if you were eating them by the spoonful side by side you might taste a difference, but probably not mixed into the pudding.

Haha! Actions speak louder than words, every time! One other question… I’ve been reading through the instructions for the homemade Cajeta. It sounds similar to Argentinian Dulce de Leche, in terms of consistency and flavour. Do you think that this would work as a substitute, or does the Cajeta method add a particular quality to the caramel? Thanks lovely!

Thanks, Laura! My boyfriend doesn’t like bananas either, but he said this wasn’t too “banana-y”… so he had several servings :-)
