Hi Hanna – since it’s only 1 TBS, I think you could omit the molasses here. I might try replacing it with something of a similar consistency – either an additional 1 TBS of corn syrup or maybe 1 TBS of maple syrup. I think it will still be delicious!

Can you omit the molasses? That is not something I use and I don’t want to have to buy it for one recipe… This recipe looks and sounds amazing so I would really like to try it. Will omitting the molasses change the texture or just the flavor slightly? Thanks!

I am so excited about the upcoming movie season. Esp. The Hobbit and Les Mis!! I’ll have to look up Cloud Atlas to see what that one is about. It would be fun to munch on this popcorn in October. It looks so delish.

Sounds delicious! I have TONS of popcorn in my cabinet from college roommates just leaving it all in our house. Christmas gifts it is! :) I was starting to gather popcorn recipes last night, so this is perfect!

Ha! I always eat the big chunks first. Same thing with granola – I always end up with a bag full of single oat crumbs and no good stuff left.

I love, love, love caramel popcorn! I always save the large chunks that are full of caramel (and chocolate and nuts) for last…Oh my sweet tooth is drooling!
