Lovely post – very calming, beautiful imagery. I have just put in raised beds and am trying some vegetables for the first time. There’s a tiny sprouted radish seed washed up from all the rain we’ve been having here; I wasn’t sure that I should be happy with that.. But reading this piece gives me lots of hope we’ll see something grow!

I like eggplant, but find it hard to introduce to kids – never tried wheat berries before. I learn so much from food blogs!
