I have a waffle recipe called Sunday waffles. It is almost the same as your Mom’s and my Mom’s except It uses buttermilk instead of regular milk. They are almost the best ever, and we love them with fresh peaches on them.. And avery belated Happy Birthday.

I love birthday food traditions. I always make a strawberry dessert because my birthday is smack dab in the middle of strawberry season. The waffles look wonderful, as does the styling!

In reply to Amrita. Thanks! I like to make a batch of baked goods on the weekends (muffins, waffles, etc.) then freeze and pop in the toaster or microwave throughout the week. Makes mornings better :-)
