Such an amazing, moving story! And a great receipe! It s early fall now so i can t wait for it to get a little chilly to try this out. We went to Czech last winter and while roaming the cities and small towns we always stopped in a cafe or in a booth on the central square to sip on some svařak. It was delicious and warm and aromatic! Undescribable feeling! Thank you for your entry! It brought some nostalgia and some sweet memories!

I just got back from Prague and in the car home my son asked if we could try to make mulled wine. It was the perfect drink after walking the city for hours. Just before crossing the Charles Bridge into Little Town we would stop and purchase our cups and sip on the way back to our apartment. Thanks! Can't wait to try it. Amy

Oh I loved it! Having been in Prague in winter, I especially appreciate the mulled wine! :)

Thanks for your entry and so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you... we had spotty internet access all last week in Puglia and we've been busy catching up ever since.

You also asked about including a recipe... my response was if you can contain a descriptive narrative about the dish and why it's so wonderful to 500 words, then that's fine to add the ingredients & instructions after that. Feel free to enter another - would love to see a recipe entry!
